This release has been re-edited and re-mastered with more trains and new songs! Each show is a high-energy mix of toy & real train action, upbeat music by James Coffey of Blue Vision Music, and a sweet spirit that is irresistible.

In Part Four, kids learn about railroad crossing safety, different road names of Diesels, and railroad traffic control signals. Kids love dinosaurs, so we came up with the "Dino Express," a freight train with a cargo of 10 frisky dinosaurs. They go for a ride but it's not always smooth. Children also learn the various types of dinosaurs.

Steam locomotives are featured in Part Five. Kids learn how they work and how to identify them. Spectacular shots of real steamers are included. Featured are legendary standard-gauge toy trains such as the "State Set," "Banker's Special" and the "Mayflower." Kids will love Buster, the hapless engineer who can't seem to run his Diesels without getting into an accident.

Part Six has lots of whacky animals riding on trains. It also includes educational segments about bridges, track maintenance, and electrical locomotives that use catenary systems. Plenty of toy train "bloopers" are featured, along with classic train action both real and toy.

See both steam and Diesel locomotives including the Pennsylvania Railroad's legendary T-1 Duplex and the Ives Circus Train in Part Eight. Learn about double-heading, and we visit the "Wrong Island Railroad" train layout of the Dollhouse Junction in Long Island, New York.

All aboard for more exciting train adventures with Jeff in Part Nine. We visit two elaborate layouts: Dick Brown of Illinois and Lou Palumbo's Underground Railroad Shoppe where we meet Vinny, the toy train-loving mannequin. See the first five inductees into the Toy Train Hall of Fame. All classic Standard gauge trains. Learn about the New York Central's Hudson locomotive and the excellent models made by Lionel. In Part 10, Jeff introduces more accessories, more music, and the next five inductees into the Toy Train Hall of Fame. Other segments include the Sugar Cane Train in Hawaii and a narrow-gauge Shay steamer in LaPorte, Indiana.

Part 11 starts with the story of the New York Central's revered streamlined steam locomotives. See the Commodore Vanderbilt, Mercury, 20th Century Limited, and Empire State Express in all their streamlined glory. Also featured are the modern BNSF Railroad, a visit to an aquarium in Maui, fast and exciting racecars (including the pre-war Lionel slotcars and modern Scalextric models), mystifying train magic performed by Jeff, and Vinnie the train-loving dummy returns to run his trains blindfolded! See the five new post-war inductees into the All-American Toy Train Hall of Fame. If you like the "Blue Comet," you will love the James Coffey song "Choo Choo Blues" along with two other great new songs he's performed for this video. Finally, aliens visit toy train land and decide it's more fun to ride on a train than in a spaceship!

We begin with a look back in Part 12 at the beautiful bicentennial trains created for the 200th birthday of the United States in 1976. Front and center is the most famous of these special trains, the American Freedom Train. This train was headed by the Southern Pacific Gs-4 streamlined steam locomotive. It made a cross-country trek, pulling 13 special cars carrying artifacts of the nation's history. Also featured are the streamlined Diesels of the 1930s, when Diesels were just beginning to make their case as the motive power of choice for the railroads. Across the country, the sleek speeding machines sliced through speed records and captured the interest of a nation coping with the Great Depression. They became symbols of American industrial pride and served to ignite a spark in railroad transportation.
