This year’s meeting of the membership is scheduled for Saturday, October 28, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm in the railcar. After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, it will resume FBDP’s practice of in-person annual meetings. On the agenda will be the election of officers, which occurs every two years. Following a half-hour business meeting, Boston & Maine Railroad historian Rick Conard will speak about the preservation efforts he has been leading in Wayland, once a station on the B&M’s “Central Mass.” Branch. There are both similarities and differences between the Bedford and Wayland projects. The meeting will conclude with a complementary lunch.

Anyone with a potential interest in serving as an officer (or in any other volunteer capacity) is encouraged to contact Bill Deen for more information. He may be reached via email at vp@bedforddepot.org or postal mail at 120 South Road, Bedford, MA 01730.
